Hi everyone,

Firstly I'd like to thank you all for the amazing support we've received over the last 2 years since Submarine opened its doors in 2024.
It's been a dream come true for us and such a privilege to have been able to meet you all and share such creativity and joy within the community.

It is with a heavy heart however that I have some sad news to announce. Submarine is unable to sustain the services we are currently offering and therefore we must inform you that this term will be our last in its current form and we will be closing after our final classes on Friday 3rd April.
I'd like to thank the amazing team that have worked so hard with me to build Submarine into such a success and to all the people who have taken part in our classes and clubs and contributed so much wonderful art, fun and friendship and helped us to create a truly magical atmosphere in our studios.

We are all desperate for Submarine to continue and we now plan to explore how we could rebuild with a new business model, taking everything we have learned and applying it to a new plan that could allow us to come back with long term sustainability.

We know that this will be hugely disappointing news to many of you who have enjoyed and been such a huge part of our community. It's heart breaking to have to close at this point when so much is going so well but we passionately believe in offering our services at an affordable price, with inclusivity for all. Submarine is an art and design focused "school" but what we believe in most is people. The importance of being together, supporting each other and celebrating diversity through creativity in the community is the key to our achievements.
As a small private business we are unable to sustain this financially any longer but we hope to seek funding and support and harness all of the positive energy to come back even stronger.

Without you all none of this would have been possible. We have made so many special friendships and connections along the way and beautiful memories that we will hold dearly forever.

For now we carry on a usual for our final few weeks and we want to enjoy every second that we have left.
