Sculpture 2 - Motors and Movement
4 weeks course exploring - Motors and Sculpture
What if it moved? Let's use electronics to push the limits of what sculptures look like!
A taster of motorised electronic art. We'll use motors to make moving sculptures, introduced with some group and solo activities. Whether it's moving a sculpture's head or arms, moving parts of a drawing, or building a moving robot, this will introduce you to what motors can do and how you can make art with them.
This course will begin the week after the 'Sculpture 1: Basics' course - come along and add moving parts to any sculptures you've built, or start a new project! Newcomers and continuing students both welcome.

Sorin Bath
I am a multimedia artist, specialising in motorised electronic art. I've studied drawing, painting and sculpture, and am a graduate from Edinburgh College of Art - I'm looking forward to introducing more people to electronic and multimedia art.
