Exploring digital art, illustration and graphic design techniques.
Welcome to the world of digital art and graphic design where the creative possibilities are limitless. Technology and software that was once only available to professionals is now accessible and affordable to everyone thanks to the stunning digital art based apps we have at our fingertips.
Each week of this 8 week course we will focus on a different form of art and design work and develop your skills using Procreate and other software, as well as practical drawing and graphic design methods.
First time students will receive introduction tutorials in Procreate, whilst students progressing from previous courses can pick up where they left off with a fresh new range of projects.
Develop your own style by playing with brushes, colour palettes, layers and typography as we help give you the tools to express your ideas through modern digital techniques.
Develop creative thinking, sketching and applying ideas across multiple mediums from pencil drawing to collage, digital effects and animation.
Whether you want to create comic strips, posters and patterns or learn the art of digital painting and collage this wide ranging course will give you an understanding of graphic art and how it can be applied to all walks of life.
Discover the work of famous artists and designers and be inspired and challenged with fresh and innovative projects.
In the high speed digital world visual communication is a wonderful skill to have, and lots of fun too!
Suitable for all abilities so come along and make friends and share a unique experience in a relaxed and fun atmosphere at our beautiful art studios at Submarine.
Each group will have its own online gallery page where they can download and share all the digital work they create.
All equipment and materials included.
Students will receive digital prints of their best work and have the option to turn one of their designs into a printed T-Shirt, hoodie or other product (additional costs apply).
If you are interested in booking a place but are unable to attend the full course please contact tom@submarineart.co.uk and we will always aim to accommodate everyone as best we can.
