Introduction to stop frame animation, storytelling, character design and digital animation.

This course has started but places are still available to join for the remaining weeks.

Where art meets storytelling. This fun, creative 6 week course will provide students with a taster of a range of animation skills and gain an understanding of how films are made.

The course will be broken down into 2 main sections.

1: Stop Frame Animation: 3 weeks of creating characters and sets and using stop frame animation software and green screen to create short film sequences. Materials will include plasticine modelling, lego, paper, card, paint and pens + more.

2: Digital Animation: Using the amazing Procreate and Procreate Dreams software we will provide a basic introduction to digital illustration, animation, and motion graphics.

Experience the magic of animation and learn the skills to bring your creations to life.

All materials and equipment will be supplied. Please wear appropriate old clothes as it might get a bit messy!
