We are looking for the young designers of the future!

Design is everywhere you look. What we wear, what we sit on, the products we use everyday and the buildings we live in. From the humble paper clip to the iPhone or iconic fashion brands, design helps us to reflect our different cultures and improve the way we live by solving problems.

We are looking to provide an opportunity to young people in Edinburgh and the surrounding areas to explore their creativity in a modern, design led way that will inspire confidence in creative thinking and presenting ideas.

This fun and practical 6 week includes:

- Creative thinking and brainstorming ideas.

- Fun modelmaking and design based games

- Beginners tutorial in digital art app Procreate.

- Create your own customised pair of Nike Air Jordans in 3D, or create your own drinks brand.

- Introduction to design drawing and perspective.

- Exploring iconic products that have changed the world.

Our aim is to provide a great foundation of practical and social skills that can be applied to all walks of life.

Course started Tues 21 May! Still places available for remaining weeks.

All materials will be supplied. Please wear appropriate old clothes as it might get a bit messy!
