This dynamic six-week course explores a different visual art each week.

This course offers an exciting opportunity to create work in a wide range of visual art forms, from drawing to film making. You'll have the opportunity to experiment with a wide range of materials, methods, media and techniques.

Each week we'll be exploring a different art form, including:

• Drawing
• Painting
• Sculpture
• Collage
• Art installation
• Film Making

We'll start each session by introducing that week's form. We’ll take a look at some relevant inspiring works, and then you'll be set a brief to create your own work. As you explore each different medium, you'll also be developing your skills in creative thinking, experimentation, and having an open approach to your work. You'll be discovering ways to challenge convention and develop your own unique visual language. All materials are included in the course price.

COURSE GOALS

• Try out a variety of visual art techniques.
• Develop new approaches to creativity and self expression.
• Start exploring the ways in which art helps us to process and make sense of the world around us.
