In 2005 Lucy and Tom Ellis co-founded the storyboard, animatic and pre-production visualising studio Treehouse 24 Ltd. The company was originally based in Soho, London before moving to Edinburgh in 2014. Over the past 18 years she has produced storyboard artwork for some of the largest advertising agencies worldwide on some of their most prestigious campaigns. Among them include; British Airways, The BBC, BT, Virgin Media, Tic Tac, Kinder Surprise, Nutella, Burt’s Bees, Mentos, Bacardi, Stella Artois, Citroen, Dulux, Budweiser, Nokia, Visa and many more.

Lucy recently helped the children at Stockbridge Primary School to translate their artwork into the successful ‘Safe_Slow_ Stockbridge’ Road Safety Campaign. Their fantastic posters + animations reminding drivers to stick to the 20mph speed limit. She has also run the Stockbridge Primary Schools arts & craft workshops at the Summer & Christmas Fares for the last 3 years. Submarine, Lucy’s newest (and perhaps biggest) venture to date, was born out of the desire to create the exciting creative space she wishes existed when she was young/looking for a path. A place where an individuals creativity is nurtured, directions explored, expertise shared. She can’t wait to begin…
